About Us

The Hazards and Disasters Student Association brings together students passionate about working towards a safer and more resilient future for communities around the globe. We are engineers, architects, doctors, public servants, first responders, and journalists working to create a safer future for communities around the globe. We pursue this goal through the three key tenets of  education, collaboration, and impact .

We are proud to be directly affiliated with the College of Architecture and Department of Landscape Architecture and Planning, and always seek to connect and collaborate with other departments and student organizations at TAMU. Our community thrives on learning and practice through meaningful service and projects that hone strong practical skills in crisis management and hazard mitigation.
